BraveWorks depends on the hearts and hands of each volunteer that joins our mission.
We serve over one hundred women in the local Charlotte area each year and countless artisans in our global community. We believe God uses each of your gifts and talents to create empowerment and transformation.

Volunteer & Donation Opportunities:
Dilworth Lunch Donation
Where: Dilworth
When: Wednesdays at 11:45 AM
Do you enjoy cooking or giving back through food? We’re looking for individuals to provide lunch for our Dilworth artisans. You can either prepare a homemade meal or purchase a catered lunch for approximately 15 people.
Lunch should be delivered by 11:45am on Wednesdays.

Lunch and Learn
Where: Dilworth
When: Wednesdays from 12:00 PM—1:00 PM
Facilitate workshops to Artisans on various personal, professional, and spiritual topics (i.e. mental health, mindfulness, boundaries, self-care, financial literacy, or resume/interviewing skills). Provide the Artisans with tools, strategies, and resources they need to continue their healing journey from pain to purpose.

Artisan Program Event Volunteer
Where: Varies based on each event
When: Periodically throughout the year
We host two annual events—(Field Day and the Holiday Party)—as well as graduations throughout the year. Lend a helping hand by supporting various tasks at Artisan events, such as setup and breakdown, staffing stations, or engaging with Artisan children. We also welcome donations to help make these events possible.

Program Mentor
Where: Dilworth or East Charlotte
When: - Wednesdays (Dilworth) from 12:00 PM—2:00 PM
- Fridays (East Charlotte) from 10:00 AM—2:00 PM(times are flexible)Assist Artisans through one-on-one and small group settings on achieving
personal, professional, and spiritual development goals. Bring market expertise and expand knowledge, resources, and social capital to vulnerable women. Retail Volunteer
Where: BraveWorks (1717 Cleveland Avenue Charlotte, NC, 28203)
When: Monday—Friday 10:00 AM—4:00 PM
Assist our Retail Manager with a variety of tasks such as greeting incoming guests, processing sales transactions, tagging products, organizing, or cleaning.
This could also include odd jobs around the shop where we need an extra set of hands.

Event/Pop-Up Volunteer

Assist our team with in-house and off-site events by setting up tables with merchandise and processing sales transactions for guests. We also ask that you represent BraveWorks and the vision of the organization by greeting people and sharing about our mission and purpose.

Social Media Volunteer Model
Where: BraveWorks (1717 Cleveland Avenue Charlotte, NC, 28203)
When: Dates & times vary typically a 1-hour session
Come be a model for our new products created by our artisans! You will be featured on our social media platforms as we advertise new products. Come to our shop with a neutral top and either sneakers, heels, or flats.

Donating Items
Drop-Off Location: BraveWorks (1717 Cleveland Avenue Charlotte, NC, 28203)
If you want to help support our Artisans and the work we do at BraveWorks by donating items, we would greatly appreciate it! Frequently donated items are gift cards for the artisans during the holidays, snacks for our artisan program, and a few things on our Amazon wish-list, to assist in providing women with the tools they need for success!
